Olá migas!!! Ufa, praticamente uma semana sem postar nada! Mas hoje vim com vontade de vos mostrar algumas coisitas.
Para começar, amanhã vou visitar a bebé de uma amiga que nasceu há apenas duas semanas. Eu já conheço a Carla (mãe) há vários anos mas infelizmente tinhamos perdido o contacto há muitos outros. Por uma feliz coincidência voltamos a encontrar-nos o mês passado e foi como se nunca estivessemos estado afastadas. A Carlinha é para mim daquelas pessoas que nunca se esquece, é muito especial!!! Estou feliz!!! =)
Hey friends!!! Ufff, I basicly didn't post a thing for a week! But today I feel like showing you a few things.
To start, I'll be visiting a friend's baby tomorrow. She was born only two weeks ago. I know Carla (the mother) for a few years already but unfortunately we lost contact for another few ones. Though. through a happy coincidence I met her last month and it was just like those years apparted had never existed. Carla is one of those people we never forget, she's very special!!! I'm happy!!! =)

Vestido verde * Green Dress

Acabei, acabei!!! Estou tão orgulhosa de mim mesma! =) weahhhhhhh... Nem acredito ainda que ACABEI o vestido, há tanto tempo que não acabava um projecto de vestuário!!! hehehe
Sim, fui logo a caminho do namorido para tirarmos fotos, muitassssssssss fotos à minha mais recente criação!!! E então o que acham? Comentários são aceites!!!

I've finished, I've finished!!! I am so proud of myself! =) weahhhhhhh... I can't believe I HAVE FINISHED the dress, it's been so long since I finished a dressing project!!! hehehe

Entusiamo * Enthusiasm

Ahhhh...lembram-se deste post? Pois bem, depois desse post o vestido ficou encostado a um canto. Na verdade, ficou foi mesmo no manequim, para eu olhar para ele todos os dias e pensar "menina má, começas-te mais um que ficou a meio"... pois é, mas nos últimos dois dias fizemos as pazes, eu comigo, e voltámos a pegar no nosso lindo vestidinho.
Neste momento, SÓ falta mesmo coser as mangas que já estão prontinhas, é só passar na máquina! Ah, e falta fazer a baínha. Ontem fiquei até quase à 1 da manhã, tão absorta naquilo que nem dei pelo tempo passar. =)

Ahhh... remember this post? Well-well, after that post, the dress was left at a corner, actually it was really up on my dummy, so I could stare at it daily and think"bad girl, you've started another one left in the middle"... so it is, but in the last two das we've been good again, myself and I, and we're back on our cutie dress.
At the moment, i JUST need to sew the sleeves together which are ready, only have to use the sewing machine, and I need to do the dress's hem. Yesterday I stayed until nearly 1o´clock in the morning, so absorbed in it that I didn't even noticed time. =)


As mangas estão com alfinetes por isso parecem um pouco diferentes daquilo que irão ser na verdade. No post anterior eu tinha pensado colocar uma fita de renda clarinha no vestido, mas mudei de ideias, e coloquei uma barra de veludo verde escura.

The sleeves are pinned so they look slightly different then they will when finished. in the previous post I though about adding a light colour band to the dress, but I have changed my mind and ended up adding a dark green velvet one instead.

Ah, só mais uma coisa, acho que finalmente perdi o meu pavor aos fechos (sim, sim, mesmo depois de tantos anos a costurar, e tanta peça feita, os fechos eram o meu maior terror). shiuuuuuuu
Oh, just one more thing, I finally lost my fear of zippers (yeah-yeah, after so many years sewing, and so many pieces done, zippers were my biggest terror). shushhhhhhhhh

Como vos tinha dito, no domingo foi dia de feira, mas foi uma tristeza...lol... nem sequer nos estreamos, nem 1 pecinha só vendida! É triste, não é? O que vale é que uma pessoa sempre se distrai lá e diverte um pouco porque de outra forma... bem...

As I had told you, last Sunday was fair's day, but it was so sad... lol.. we didn't even sell a thing, not even 1 little piece! It's sad, isn't it? At least we can spend a nice time there, otherwise...well...

Levo umas novidades para a feira, que colocarei aqui mais tarde. Estou com esperança que corra melhor desta vez, já que se aproxima ai o Natal.


CRAFTERS FAIR
We'll be there tomorrow for the third time, so I have been very busy preparing some things (it feels like there's always something missing)! I hope the weather will be better tomorrow than it was today! I'll take some new things there, which I'll post here later. I'm hoping that things will go better this time since Christmas is getting closer.

Hey!What a weekend! Is it over yet?! It was really busy!

Ontem pela manhã fui ao cabeleireiro mudar de visual - havia 2 anos que não punha lá os pés (costumo dar manutenção em casa, cm é bastante comprido consigo cortar eu mesma), mas desta vez queria algo mesmo diferente! Prometo uma foto de antes e depois para breve!!!

Yesterday morning I went to the hairdresser, to change my look - it's been two years since I last went there (I usually cut it myself cuz it's really long), but this time I wanted something really different!I promess a before and after picture soon!!!

Passei o resto do dia com a familia na casa da avó Mariana, que fica no campo... e a tia Fatinha lá nos convenceu a irmos todos, hoje, logo de manhã apanhar azeitonas... não preciso dizer que estou toda partidinha, pois não? Bem, e como por enquanto ainda não há fotos das novidades (preparadas) deixo-vos um quadro que pintei em 2005... beijoka!

I spent the rest of the day with the family at grandma's house, Mariana, which is in the country side... and aunt Fatinha convinced us to pick up olives today in the morning... I don't need to complain of how broken I am, do I? Well, and in the mean while I don't have pictures of the new stuff, I leave you a painting I did back in 2005... kiss-kiss!
